Excellent results
These strings belay their price. They are much better than I expected. I've always been suspicious of Aquilla, and found Martins to be the best. These Alice's are a really good value compromise. I used them on a Taropatch, and they really do balance quite nicely for my playing style. Softer on the fingers, but with a brightness that was unexpected.

Hasn't fallen apart yet.
Unlike the last three cheapies that I've bought it seems more sturdy, but we shall see.

Unbelievable sound quality!
The title says it all, but for nine quid - brilliant! Good solid built speakers. Smaller than expected, but that's no problem.
If I had to make a suggestion, it would be to replace the link cable for a longer one. An extra couple feet of separation made things even better.
