A great little collection of sci fi art and text from a lesser known future history book series along the lines of the Terran Trade Authority!
Settlers in Space is another captivating assemblage of fantastic paintings from many great artists (Angus McKie, Peter Elson, Chris Moore, etc.) with text that reads as if you have found a textbook mashup from a future classroom and from your own childhood (on a colonized planet somewhere).

An ominous trip back to the future
One the great series of Terran Trade Authority books from 40 years ago. Packed with great art by some of best sci-fi illustrators ever. Written with the mournful edge of some space bound paradise lost. It was great when I was a kid and is just as enjoyable now that outer space is back on humanity’s table.
