Basic but effective
This is just a basic, engine only OBD2 scanner. but accepting that, it worked brilliantly. It enabled me to identify an engine problem quickly at home, and fix it for a fraction of the cost of getting a dealer to do it. Excellent value for money.
Note that it won't clear all error codes - those with an impact on emissions, for example. These require a full scan with a more sophisticated scanner. However, if you've fixed the root cause it is easy to purge the code and clear the check engine light by disconnecting the battery negative terminal and popping the lights on for a second to drain any residual power. Note that you might then need to reset the clock and radio pre-sets.

Fantastic specialist lens
Amazing lens, extraordinary perspective. Provides some truly unique images, which are very striking. Takes a bit of knowledge to use it, as it's completely manual. Not only manual focus, but aperture is manually controlled as well. If you know how to use a DSLR properly this won't be a problem.
