Copper is hard to remove from tanks
0 of 2 found this helpful For those of you who treat with copper, I find it difficult to remove copper after treating with Cupramine. 100% water changes and running carbon along with Cuprisorb still yields .10 reading on Hanna copper tester. Contacted rep who said to run Cuprisorb for 1-2 weeks. Not sure how most hobbyists run their hospital tanks, however, changing over to Paraguard would be lethal if any copper is left. Formaldehyde and Copper is 10x’s more lethal. Would like to know what others do.
