A 'WHAT' OF BEARS? A SLOTH!
1 of 1 found this helpful If you are interested in language - especially in collective nouns, then this book is bound to interest you. 190 pages long, in black & white with lino cut-type illustrations, the book is divided into 7 chapters...People - Professions - Religion - Domestic Animals & Birds - Wild Animals - Wild Birds - Exotic Creatures. Then a Biography, Acknowledgements and an extensive index.
My hardback edition was printed in 2014. I bought it as a present for my wife and both of us have enjoyed reading through it. Each collective noun merits around a page of descriptive reasoning to explain the origin and history of the noun and a potted history of the subject - all written in easy language and full of interesting anecdote & fact.
Not a slick & glossy book but very good value and well recommended.

Great value compared to most winter daphnes being sold.
I am impressed by the quality of these small plants and by their comparatively low cost.
Sturdy and well rooted, they came quickly and securely. Recommended!

VERSATILE and with a GREAT ZOOM.
Easy to use and versatile, its huge zoom gives you sharp images of distant objects.
Good for snaps on Automatic but the SX530 allows plenty of other options. Well reviewed and quite sturdy, a bridge camera that fits well into the hand but is too large to go into a pocket.
I enjoy using my SX530 and have taken some good photographs with it.
