Stay with the original soundtrack
I had the original vinyl soundtrack of the film, but the master tapes were lost apparently, so better quality on CD was not possible. When I found this CD, I thought they had maybe found the tapes, so I bought the CD. Although some of the original vinyl tracks are included, they are ruined by the film background audience noise which was faded out in the vinyl version. Also many of the tracks on the new CD maybe fine as background to the movie, but not as audio only. Despite being an avid Rick Wakeman fan, this CD will be consigned to the bin.

A heavily edited edition of these 3 books. Buy them individually.
The rating is for this edition, not the books. I bought this trilogy thinking it was the 3 books in one place, but was disappointed to find that each of the 3 books has been edited to reduce the size for a single book. The first book, Ring of Bright Water has been cut by almost 30% according to the foreword. This has stopped me from reading it and I have since ordered the 3 books individually and I will be reselling this trilogy. I think this is morally wrong. Gavin Maxwell's name is on the cover and I wonder if he would have agreed to have his work butchered like this for commercial reasons.

You get what you pay for
Paper is very thin. Centre hole is far too big making alignment difficult. Difficult to remove from backing.
