  Before buying, I asked the seller if I could have a refund if the monitor I was buying was not the correct one. He said there was no problem with that. On asking to return this, the seller offered a partial refund because he had shown me the part number. Although disappointed, the seller promptly refunded the reduced amount on receipt of the return.

  I clearly agreed to the return and refund if the bike would not turn on and understandably assumed that you had checked the monitor reference numbers to ensure it was correct! We have a NordicTrack bike and the console stopped working last week. The engineers are reluctant to travel to Scotland, and are not 100% sure if it is this part that needs replaced. If I make you an offer for this and we try it, can I return it if the bike still does not turn on?
