Easy-to-install, retrofits with older control boxes
Excellent retrofit product, you don't even need to remove the old back plate and mains wiring if you didn't want to, this will directly fit and only requires 5 spade connectors to be pushed on numbered terminals and then the two securing screws for the face plate and you're done.
The only two minor neg's I can think of are that while it has a pretty green backlighting on the LCD display (temporary, when buttons are pressed) and an orange glow boost button, the small red LED timer light is extremely bright, lazer like if you looked directly at it. And the Horstmann company is being changed to Secure, and that legend makes this box look more like a burglar alarm than an immersion heater timer.
