Nakamichi CD-400 CD player - My humble opinion
8 of 8 found this helpful The Nakamichi corporation have been producing high end car audio products for almost 25 yrs now and yet, within the UK market, is still a rather undiscovered brand.
The CD400 headunit is often overlooked due to its bland styling but underneath that bland exterior lies a fantastic sounding player with more sound controlling features than most others.
Most common far east headunits have lots of flashing lights , oel displays with pretty pictures !! and poor sound reproduction characteristics but the Nakamichi is the exact opposite !! CD music reproduction is clean , deep , and never stressed even when pushed hard. "female vocals" are nothing short of amazing.
It has 3 sets of RCA outputs and 2 Input sets , a remote control , face off facility and conventional speaker outputs.
Find out what the Sound Quality Competitors have been keeping secret and buy 1 today.
I did , and would not use any other brand !!!!

No complaints at this price.
For the price its hard to beat. The SQ is decent, the freq range is pretty good with only a hint of hiss.
The low end is full and rounded and will satisfy most.
I tried it on a high end hifi , an 6s & 11 phone and a pair of high end headphones.
Yes you can buy high end bluetooth RX / TX units but for the money its surprisingly decent.
How long it will last is hard to tell, its lightweight and very compact.
