Amtrad DRX 890 became noisy after one year, easy to use though.
I bought the Amstrad DRX 890 because the previous, identical model became noisy after just one year, but before then it worked very well. Recording, pausing, play-back etc were all very easy and worked well. Unfortunately, I had just cancelled my Sky subscriptions and I thought the machine had stopped all the above because of another fault, but it was because Sky had switched my machine off when I cancelled and demanded £10.25 per month just so I could use my machine. I was not impressed. The delivery, packaging and what use I get out of it now all worked well. It will be a long time before I subscribe to Sky again to see if the rest of the system works. The new one doesn’t make a noise anyway.

Poor switch
0 of 1 found this helpful The on/off switch had to be held down until the kettle got warm then it seemed to work correctly. It was returned. Had the on/off switch worked from the start, I'm sure I would have been very happy with this product.
