Leightweight and compact size.
There are a lot of portable folding BBQ's out there and I have tried quite a few over the years!
I recently purchased this one because it folds up nice and neatly and is light weight.
The Nylon Carrier Bag has an adjustable shoulder strap with shoulder pad and a clip fastener
The whole thing weights about 2,400g and is 305 X 230 X 90mm packed and 305 X 230 X 180mm built up.
The build quality is great and it was easy to set up, just unfold, screw the stand on to the unit with 4 butterfly nuts, add your charcoal and you’re done!
The size of the grill area is about the size of an A4 piece of paper which is more than enough space to cook for my wife, Son & I.
With a single layer of lumpwood in, there was enough heat to cook 3 burgers, 6 sausages, 3 chicken kebabs and 3 small corn cobs (Obviously not all at the same time) with enough heat to do much more.
The grill has 3 height settings, which helps if you need to adjust the heat (slightly) when cooking. The removable grill handle gave enough control to move the grill during cooking with ease.
I had looked into purchasing the additional legs, but the first time I used it I had the BBQ raised on two bricks. I tested the stand underneath for heat transfer and it didn't transfer any heat downwards whatsoever. I have since used it on my wooden camping table so I can stand while cooking. I now don’t need to buy the additional legs
It is easy to clean and pack away. I don’t use the internal bag for charcoal as designed, I use it to store my BBQ utensils, lighter, firelighters, tongs, spatula and small paint brush for cleaning.
Although I use it when we’re camping in the camper, it is small and light enough to take out for a day trip to the beach (or anywhere).
Overall a brilliant BBQ that is much lighter than all my previous folding BBQ’s and it packs down to a very storage friendly shape and size.
