Did not fit most in my case

Nice product in theory, however "fits most" did not fit an Igloo polymer jerry jug, or a Briggs and Stratton polymer gas can. The kit comes with 4 locking rings of different threat patterns and none of them fit. Used the new spout with the original lock ring on the jerry jug and it leaks. My cans were of older manufacture so perhaps newer cans are of a different threat pitch, but based on my experience I would not recommend this item as a "fits most" solution.
