Did not work..needs a USB Power connector
Purchased this to link external laptop drive to my PC but it would not fire up the hard drive - it is missing a seperate USB cable for Power - -

Does not work with all cars...

Be Aware...check first if your motherboard supports eSATAp
OK I brought this lead to help me with data transfer from a 2.5 HDD to my PC - what I failed to realise is that this lead uses power from the eSATA socket (eSATAp) which my motherboard did not have - my mistake.!!!
I was unable to test it so cannot comment on its performance - all I would say is that you first check to see if your Motherboard does support eSATAp before you buy.
