Cycle Freewheel Remover BMX Single speed cog removal tool - Tobe

This Freewheel Remover is for single speed BMX Freewheels

I bought this product to remove a Single Speed Freewheel From a Skyway Tuff wheel from the 80's. The Freewheel was a shimano 333 and it was the 2 prong type. These were common on Raleigh Burner Super Tuff bikes and also the ATOM brand freewheel which is also 2 prong. Before i got this tool I used a hammer and a flat screwdriver to try and budge it and it would not come off. I even took off some of the metal off the freewheel trying to do it. I was at it for at least half an hour the one time and it would not move. Luckily there was enough metal left on it to use this Freewheel remover. I used this tool and had the freewheel off in less than 2 minutes. There are other 2 prong Freewheels on ebay but most of them are for Multi Freewheels and the are too small to remove a single speed. I even phoned one of the companys selling a 2 prong freewheel remover and told me there is no such tool for removing single freewheels, and that the 2 prong remover tools were only for multi freewheels and he had never ever seen a single speed 2 prong remover in 30 years of his bike business.... well he was wrong. Anyway if you have a 2 prong single speed freewheel that needs removing, this one is for you. It's also good quality. Mine is actually silver and not black as shown in listing but it is the same one.
