Perfect replacement for the one that failed.

I ordered these to replace the DirecTV remote that failed. I was never impressed with the remote... no voice commands and very complicated to select a program to record, but that's all on DirecTV for a substandard system. Can't wait for our DirecTV contract to expire. That said, the remotes I ordered were in perfect new condition, delivered promptly as promised, in appropriate packaging. They were delivered with batteries that were remarkably FRESH... nice surprise.

Not a exact match

My observation at first glance was that the metal appeared to be thinner than the tubes I was replacing and might not last as long... but only time will tell. The most serious shortcoming is the fact that the tubes did not come pre-drilled for connection to crossover tubes. After the main tube is ignited, the crossover tubes allow the flame to migrate to the remaining tubes in the burner set. It seems incongruous that the company would ship a set of four burner tubes without the ability to connect the crossover tubes. Fortunately, I am handy with a drill and was able to measure and drill the holes needed. If you're not handy with a drill, you shouldn't purchase these tubes.
