Gorgeous costumes and ensembles, boring movie
The movie style is very dated. It's a big production with gorgeous costumes, Kim Jong-Unesque grade mass performances and the actors are strong. But the dialogue is stale and verbose. There is an undercurrent of "we're tired of the cold war, let's make peace" which doesn't cut it anymore. The plot moves so slowly. The characters are two dimensional.
High points: technicolour, impressive scenery and battle scenes
Low point: so boring.
