That is what you need for your pet rats
2 of 2 found this helpful Perfect for rats as the bar spacing is 10mm. Plenty of room, sturdy. The top opening makes it easy to get inside. There are also 2 small doors on the front wall. the only small downside is cleaning as you have to take the base out lifting the cage but that is the issue with other cages even more expensive ones.

Frightful first experiments
I bought the set for Christmas present for my almost 9 years old boy. We barely got through first 3 (there are 18) experiments and he enjoyed it a lot. This set is a good opportunity for young scientist s to get to know basic rules of physics and chemistry. So far so good. Adult supervision is recommended as some of the experiments can get really messy.
