Good valve
It could do with a rubber cable out let, I've broken the cable on these where it always bends where it goes in. I've taken to wrapping insulation tape around the cable where it exits the light on new ones now, that way I break them in some other way first! Due to the fact they usually get broken in silly ways like driving over or being cut through the good valve is most important. I personally don't like an on off switch, that's what the one on the wall is for, I find I just turn the thing off when holding it in tight spaces with a switch in the handle.
The light spread is much much better than an LED version.

Great value
Perfect fit on many Tamiya's. Lovely smooth action.
Plastic top mount can snap if you crash & the shock takes a sideways hit, but then any part of the car can be broken in the same way!
The seals will eventually go, but they do on any oil filled shock & these are such good value it's much easier to just buy new ones than rebuild them! They aren't hard to rebuild if you want though. I have stripped a few to drill the holes out to make them softer, but mostly they can be just used as they are.

Top quality
I didn’t realise my old one had failed, I only noticed this kit when buying the VANOS kit. So I just got this to be safe, not wanting to risk the pin falling out, but when I took the old one out I the flap had broken loose. It’s running much better now!
