Good clarity, broken turret after 2 range trips.

I purchased this for atop a new AR10 I built. It has very good Clarity for the price. After approximately 100 rounds, the windage adjustment turret snapped off at the bolt. Apparently this is a common issue and a little research online brings up many cases of this. I sent it back to Nikon because of their warranty. It has been almost a month now, because they don't have any in stock to replace it.
