disappointing
I greatly admire William Penn and his beliefs and Quaker principles but this book in its present arrangement is not an easy read nor compelling. I was disappointed.

a history of the cruelty to Chimps and the horrifying decline in numbers
I found it depressing. So much suffering and cruelty to the chimps so I guess it is good to have this exposed but it is was hard reading and I did not finish it. I know Jane has done wonderful work but it is not an easy or pleasant read. Caged for 10 years alone for any animal is unacceptable and I found there was little else there to cheer one up..

I found the book quite elementary on the Near Death Experience event and the title was suggesting more on NDEx when it was a lot Elizabeth Kubler Ross
I know about Near Death Experiences already but thought this book was advertised as Kubler-Ross interviewing blind people which really interested me. I did not find this evidence in the book which was mostly about herself and her life.
