Not to be overlooked
More features in these headphones than most others out there, and they are all useable practical features that make using them a joy. I've been using the Plattan ADV for for over two years myself now, and have just bought a second pair for my 16 year old daughter - she says they are fantastic too, and if a teenager likes a brand they haven't heard of before, then you know you are on to a good thing!
Great sound for the price (better than beats IMO), good battery life, understated (so not a thief magnet !) and just all round good solid headphones.

Simple and accurate
Very simple to use, and with the option of selecting the type of wood you are testing, you are guaranteed accurate results.
Handy size, good clear display, large buttons, and the hold function all make this a great piece of kit.

I'd buy another of these
3 of 3 found this helpful For the price this is an excelent piece of kit. I bought one for my 10 year old daughter for Christmas, and she can use all of its features with ease. Most of it she worked out without any help, just press the buttons as you can't do any damage with it all being solid-state.
Not great in poor light and the sound quality can be quite noisy, but it takes great little movies and is robust enough for kids - "gentle ones" at least!
