Mounting screws are too long
2 of 2 found this helpful The screws that hold on the mount are too long and stick out into the action of my Remington 740 by about half a mm. That's too long. I'll have to put something that width between the mount and the gun to take up that space. Hopefully it will hold properly. I didn't realize this problem until I went to pull back the bolt and it was anchored in there with the mounting screws. I'm hoping the action isn't damaged.
Products should arrive ready to use and not have to be adapted to fit something they are advertised to fit.
Other than this major issue, the mount seems good quality and like it will hold up well. Good price too.

Really happy with the purchase so far.
Product set up easy and has worked well so far. No problems. I like the model and the one I was sent was in like new condition, but for a much better price.
