Hilarious, engaging, intelligent, life-affirming film. Human spirit trumps 'the broken social system.'
Highly recommended. French cinema at it's best! A modern day classic! If you are taking French, this is an excellent way to spend a couple of hours in serious study.

This postumously released collection of tracks from the inimitable Eva Cassidy is an extremely powerful work. The sheer talent of Eva's voice is matched by her instrumentation and her interpretive prowess. The song selection is doubly moving and poignant when you bare in mind her on-going battle with cancer...which, tragically, she ultimately succombed to.
Songbird is a thoughtfully produced triumph of mind and spirit.
