Chemical Peel/bad sunburn!!
5 of 9 found this helpful Sort of works with ingrowing hair prevention in the sense that it literally burns away the top layers of skin (bright side is this doesn't hurt), but it looks awful! First noticed it with my hands and couldn't work out what was wrong with them. It was like a primary school when you used to get that plastic glue on your hands diliberately and spend hours of fun reapplying and peeling it off. Not so much fun now. Only realised it was this product when a day or so later it started happening on the other areas I have applied it to...
Not sure if this has happened to others, but I would not consider my skin sensitive; it's actually quite 'normal'.
Have used an popular cheap high street pharmacy own brand before and it was great and no signs of chemical peels...
Overall, it does work to a degree, but with unsightly consequences. If you're desperate to find a good one try it and you may find you are lucky and avoid the peel... otherwise, I would not recommend a product that has this effect on 'normal', non-sensitive skin
