Not a single seed germinated.
I waited a decent time before deciding to write a review to see how the product would 'perform '... Followed instructions TO THE LETTER. Did everything as recommended. I am a pretty experienced gardener even if I say so myself, so this 100% fail rate, is somewhat unusual with me. Nothing. Very annoyed. As far as I am concerned this was money wasted, as I consider the seeds to be non-viable. Shame.

Really great and just right for 2!
Am very pleased with my purchase - it's efficient, compact, simple to use and very easy to clean. So far, I have had no stuck food, so washing the ceramic pot has been a doddle! Just fill two-thirds with water, a squirt of washing up liquid - and turn to 'Low' overnight! Couldn't be easier to use! My one minor disappointment (and it IS minor!) is that the Instruction leaflet clearly states a Recipe Book is included, but there was no book - and upon enquiring, was advised the book is available to purchase separately. The included leaflet therefore needs amending! Other than that, everything has been marvellous.

Nothing is safe!
From grapes to gerkins, apples to aubergines, and zucchini to (yeah, YOU try thinking of something!) This has opened up an amazing versatile and immensely enjoyable way of preparing and preserving food in a way I didn't know existed. I have dried the conventional and the unusual and it makes eating, fun! I heartily recommend it. And have no fear, and be adventurous! Try anything once, let your imagination go mad, experiment and learn. I did need to purchase fine mesh drying mats for making leathers, separately, butter food pieces this appliance is bang on the money!
