Great filter with a slight issue possibly.
2 of 2 found this helpful I've had this filter now, for 10 months and it's been superb. Easy to setup and maintain and a great price. However, after I woke one morning to find approx 12 litres of water on my floor, I noticed the leak was from the filter and more specifically, the main O ring. On asking for a replacement of the O ring under the manufacturers 12 month warranty, I was informed that the O ring is classed as perishable and is only covered for 6 weeks. It certainly does NOT say this on the box etc and had I known, would not have bought it. Who would? But again, this is a great external filter and I have to admit to it being bad luck, that this happened to me.

Good value, good quality, but....
1 of 1 found this helpful Being on disability, I always try to do things as cheaply as possible, but sometimes, it pays to pay extra. This system is of good quality and price and although it came with 2 x 40 days supply of Co2 mixture, it is very easy to make your own mix, once the 80 days approx. Is over. This is a great system, but with one HUGE downside. It runs 24/7 and this is not good. Aquarium lights on, Co2 on, lights off, Co2 off, since plants don't use Co2 when dark. So with this running 24/7, I can't be sure of any long term effects on my fish. Knowing this tho, I made sure this system was less per litre than my actual tank size, to compensate for the always on. Would I buy another? If I was skint, maybe, but I'll deffo make sure I have enough money for an on/off system next time, with pressure gauge and Co2 check bubble. All in all, not bad, but make sure it's ideally suited for your plant needs.
