Black Film HIstory
1st the dvd was brand new and package in excellent condition! Arrived according to tracking details. No problems.
This film excellent from several perspectives: 1st: the simply throwback style, with the HD and 3D in today's world ,the view from behind the lens from the late 60s and early 70s is amazing. These films would make excellent tools for film students. The simple act of entering and leaving a scene between 2016 and 1960ish is epic. Such a diffirence in how films are created now, including but not limited to wardrobe, sets, action scenes, showdowns, facial hair etc.
2nd: created at a time when Black films were completely ignored in hollywood. So the cast is virtually unknown but so earnest in their work!
3rd: Fred Williamson was fine, talented, a retired football player with the body of a god! and he knew it too!!
The action is reflective of the people and times, full of gun fights that will leave you laughing, insults that hurt even today and a hero, who isnt just out for himself but for justice and exactly what he is entitled too!
Yeah, buy this one!
