It's replacement blades, Not The Machine I bought. So question "is it compact & easy to start" is irrelevant.
The plastic blades were much better quality than I'd ever hoped for. Fantastic value, so I now don't have to worry too much about destroying too many. That's something that really can't be avoided when cutting grass perimeters; which is what I mainly use this small mower for; where the rest of the lawn is cut every other day with an auto-mower. I reckon these 50 new blades should last me a year or two.

Good quality tines - very good price - no problem in fitting them. Those who say they don't work; probably put them on BACK TO FRONT. Simple!!
