Genuine PCM1702P-K (Superb)
This a genuine K-grade PCM1702P-K DAC IC. The IC meets the Burr-Brown datasheet specifications at the 0dB and -60dB output levels.
The sound quality from this sign magnitude R-2R DAC is excellent. The DAC sounds detailed and dynamic with a good quality op-amp I-V converter like the OPA2134PA. It sounds even better with an all discrete I-V converter output stage! In my experience only a single pole is required in the output stage (i.e just the I-V stage) as the DAC does not produce the ultra-sonic quantisation noise of sigma-delta DACs.
This is a highly recommended DAC!

Blaupunkt 32/1480 is Excellent
Outstanding value for money. The picture quality is superb when you tweak the settings from the “standard” configuration settings slightly. I preferred a bit less brightness and a bit stronger colour strength. The sound quality is excellent with the “standard” configuration. Overall, really pleased with our new lounge TV.
