cheap and nasty
The delivery was first class they arrived the next day but the clamps are not good. The plastic jaw are brittle I dropped a clamp on the floor and the jaws shattered. It is almost impossible to use them One handed,as is possible with my older clamps. If they are knocked even quite gently whilst under tension they spring open. The ratchet mechanism has to be in exactly the right position to work. I would definitely not recommend these clamps

moving oil
This is quite the very best Fluid pump that I have ever used. Firstly, the delivery from purchase was very speedy indeed with advanced arrival information given. Secondly the quality and workmanship in this pump is outstanding. I purchased it to transfer 500 litres of heating oil from an old tank to a new one which meant having to first transfer the oil to barrels then transfer it back from the barrels to the new tank. The distance from tank to barrels was about ten meters and I had to use garden hose to cover this distance. I primed the pump prior to starting pumping and the flow rate was quite extraordinary. Both transfers, over a two day period, were completed in less than one and a half hours pumping time; with no problems of any sort making for a very satisfactory job indeed. This was all done for much less than the cost of two days pump hire from a local tool suppliers who wanted a weeks notice to provide a pump. I would very strongly recommend this pump to anyone who has heating oil to transfer between containers. It is small and heavy but very well made and an excellent addition to my tool stock. very good value for money
