Monitor Audio Silver 100 Bookshelf Speakers - Natural Oak

Great speakers

A little larger than a number of 'bookshelf' speakers, however, this is because of the larger main drive unit which gives a deeper bass sound. Bass is good without being 'too much' and works as well with classical as it does with Jazz, Metal, Folk, or as a boost to the TV speakers. Upper frequencies are defined without being harsh. Currently partnered with an older Arcam FMJ A19 amp. Overall, a great set of speakers. I've selected 'yes' for good value as I purchased these on an offer, however, the speakers these replaced were purchased at full price and were only £100 less than the original price of the Monitor Audios. As such I consider them to still be good value

Great films, great actor, great Blu ray, cheap price

Yep, does exactly what it's supposed to do and plays on all my Blu ray players without problem. As a big Donnie Yen fan this is a cheap way of getting 4 films in one (compact) purchase

Useful little bit of kit for the DIYer

Useful little tool which I purchased when I fancied making myself a desk during lockdown. It is showing slight signs of wear and tear, but this isn't a heavy duty piece of kit for professionals I would advise using a clamp to hold it in place as it is small and even with a good grip it tends to move a bit. Definitely worth getting for the odd job where you need a pocket hole jig and small enough to be stored without hassle
