It's NOT an outdoor plug!
I ordered this after I searched for waterproof plug because my device will be plugged in 24/7 potentially in heavy rain. This isn't suitable for that!
It is designed to be used in a potentially damp environment, e.g. A porch, shed or garage. It is not designed to be on an external wall.
Any device plugged in should be unplugged in the event of rain etc.
I hadn't considered putting a plug socket in my shed. I will use it there. Good for mowing the lawn.

Great BBQ. please be aware that these units are made up in the warehouse to check build quality etc.
They are only loosely assembled and some fastenings are missing.
You will have to refasten ALL the screws holding it together.
One of my igniters wouldn't work - but disassembling the front panel to find the loose connection sorted the problem.
Recommend the smaller patio gas cylinder, not the 13kg one.
