You get what you pay for
I was surprised when I received the helicopter that it was well built, unfortunately it is difficult to fly which is its primary function. It is very hard to achieve fine control and the helicopter keeps crashing into things and as it should only be used indoors, it cannot be controlled around the many items in its path.

Should I buy a Dyson?
We had never considered buying a Dyson before, although the reviews emphasised the greater suction, we always baulked at paying a higher price. We previously owned Panasonic upright cleaners which were very reliable and we considered buying another one. However, the features on the DC25 looked better than other machines, so we took the plunge and bought one.
Having had the DC25 for two months now we are very pleased with it. The carpets have never been cleaner due to a higher suction, the emptying of dirt, dust and fluff is very easy, the ball makes it easy to manoeuvre and the exhaust air has no smell at all due to the washable Hepa filter.
Only time will tell about reliability but it is a cracking start.
