Osprey Porter 46 travel pack

The ultimate travel backpack

This backpack is awesome. I own the Porter 46, 30 and Daypack. Osprey makes backpacks and only backpacks. They put a ton of R&D into their products and it shows. Multiple ways to carry (back, hand, shoulder). Interior space is very well thought out and allows for maximum usage. But if you pack a bit too much, there are the compression straps that work extremely well. Carrying handles are padded and comfortable. Back straps are padded and come with a waist and chest clips to evenly distribute the weight. And they stow away nicely when not needed. The seperate laptop sleeve is nicely placed and you don't have to unzip your entire bag for access. And speaking of zippers, they are amazingly tough and top of line. If I could add one thing, it would be a place to carry a water bottle or two. The winner for me with this bag is it is carry-on compliant and will fit in most overhead bins. Osprey has a winner with this one.

A must have for the cold/snow

I'll be very brief. Have another brand designed to do the same things; keep you warm, insulated, reinforced at the knees, adjustable waist. These do the same thing but much better. The material is simply amazing and very durable, the zippers are superior, the waist adjustment tabs are more substantial and better placed, the pockets are better lined and the pants toward the bottoms near the feet are better insulated. Value at $44+ could easily be $$80-$100. Don't delay, pick um up today. I'm out. Peace.
