Expensive but good
This is a very sturdy bag and comes with a selection of fixings included which make it easy to attach to a variety of bikes. I thought the clips looked a bit flimsy, but just did a spirited tour around the Picos mountains weith this bag and it stayed put.
The benefit of this type of fixing is that it's easy to access and open the bag whilst still attached to the bike without having to undo the mounting straps.
Fully waterproof and swallows more than you could ever need for a couple of weeks away.
The best bit is the solid tray at the bottom that prevents the bag sagging over the seat whether empty or full. It maintains it's shape always.
I could also fit a 10mm cable lock through the end fixings to add minor security to prevent snatch and grab theft from the bike - for what it's worth.

Does the trick
Seemed very light but they look oem and fit perfectly. Replaced a peg that sheared off in an off road drop.

Oily
It's oil. It feels oily. It's also a pretty colour. I'm not a mechanic.
