Tascam DR-05 Fits the bill!
1 of 1 found this helpful This unit records very well. The batteries last and last. It has a bit of a learning curve, just because of the many features, but once you used it a few times, it couldn't be much simpler. I use mostly for my lectures and use a cheap little lapel mic. It picks up my voice crystal clear and enough ambient sound that I can boost audience questions/comments later on in edit. I give 5 stars without hesitation.

PYLE PDA5BU stereo amp is a good value
1 of 1 found this helpful This system did what I was looking for. i.e. amplifying my PC's audio out to my speakers. It is lacking a decent operational manual and (on my unit) the FM tuner is not a stereo signal. I would call tech support, but I don't listen to the tuner.
End result? For the money, it's plenty good enough for me.

Like New? Like heck!
13 of 13 found this helpful When you order something described as "Like New", you excpect it to be clean and packed with care.
I should have taken pictures, but it was filthy (not just dusty) and basically thrown into a box to jangle around during transport.
Here's the description:
"Thank you for looking. This unit is like new only used once or twice or used as a display unit. This unit is complete with everything except the box or the manual. This unit may have light scratches or scuffs as this was used as a display model"
I don't mind used items, nor light scratches, but I do care about customer consideration. This almost went straight into the trash, but I took the 20 minutes to wash it. The physical unit was in good operational shape, which brought this review up a full STAR to two.
