Want a rust-free stock exhaust? You want this!
1 of 1 found this helpful I read the previous review and thought it was exactly what I wanted. I did order it and it's awesome! It's an exact copy of the original but in stainless steel (409 type, not the chrome mirror type) which it will not rust! I have had a slight discoloration after it got hot, totally normal. But what about the quality? The welds are the best I've seen in a long time! Everything lines up perfectly to the stock mounting points, and it's VERY quiet! I don't remember anything being this quiet! You can hear the engine more than the exhaust. And it's not restrictive at all! No drone on the highway, actually much quieter than my other aftermarket stock replacement exhaust! The price is an awesome deal, was shipped in a box with bubble wrapped each part. The mid-pipe comes in two pieces and they include a pipe sleeve to connect it, 1.75" diameter. I used lock nuts on it to make sure it's not coming loose. Oh and they include everything, bolts, gaskets. I used the OEM gasket but hey that's me.
If you're looking for a stock replacement in stainless steel this is it!

have used this before, cleans anything and everything off to prep for paint. haven't had a failure of paint yet after cleaning with this remover.

New, old stock Honda!
1 of 1 found this helpful If you need an oem, Honda radio for your 96-98 Civic, this is the one to get! The dealer still sells this headunit/radio for about $525 and up! Why the insane price? It's because the keyless entry (wireless) module is built into the radio! So, if you take this out you'll lose your keyless entry ability. Not only that, but if you want to upgrade to an aftermarket radio/headunit you'll need to keep this. They do sell wiring harnesses for that. But, the seller is selling these at an awesome price! What I received, the radio is brand new, just old stock. From what I can tell a dealership unloaded and this seller, screwcityparts, picked these up! Great find!! This radio will work on 96-98 CX and DX Civics, but there are no power door locks on those, so no ability to have the keyless entry work. This is for 96-98, 2 door HX, EX and 4 Door LX, EX models. If you don't have the keyfob and you have power door locks, you can find the keyfobs still available from Honda. I got them from a dealer online, a set of 2 is like $55-60.
