Works great and is a great value!
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought this unit to charge batteries for my Wacom Intuos Pro tablet. Saw a few reviews complaining that lining up the pins was hard or that you have to keep fiddling with them. I’ve been using this for a few months and haven’t had any issues. Just line up the two prongs for + and - as directed on the unit and your battery. It’s held in by side clamps that automatically hold the battery in securely. The charge status display is simple and very useful.
Highly recommended to anyone with a device that can’t charge it’s own battery due to malfunction or lack of charging feature.

Poor engineering, not enough power.
This would be a great product if it had an option to use an AC adapter. It’s powered by 1 AAA battery which understandably lasts a very short time. I’m guessing you need high quality camera batteries or good rechargeables.
When the unit feels like working, the audio is very clear and pleasant.

Works, but songs are terrible.
This doorbell looks nice, is relatively easy enough to set up, and can be set up anywhere. I like that the unit is completely battery operated. The bell takes standard CR-2032 coin battery and I believe the other component takes 3 AA batteries.
The one major flaw is that I thought would be a major selling point - the songs. There are a lot of chimes to choose from, but I feel that they are mostly annoying and not suited for this purpose. Most amazingly, this unit doesn’t even include the classic “DING, DONG”. The best chime I could find was more akin to what you’d expect to hear from a grandfather clock.
The volume control is a welcome feature, but it was implemented poorly. There’s a single button to go through all the possible volumes, so you can’t go back one if you missed the one that you liked. You have to press and guess, same as when selecting a chime song. Volume would have been better with a slider or dial. Song selection should have had two buttons for previous and next.
In short, this is a versatile, inexpensive unit that looks nice and functions well as a wireless doorbell. Just be prepared for long, MIDI-sounding songs that are too long for the task at hand. This would be a great unit if it connected to a computer or phone, allowing for remote setup and customization.
