sidewinder isolator
1 of 1 found this helpful great unit. 3rd I've installed in my vehicle. 1st one is about 5 years old and still operating faultlessly, protecting the main battery from the auxiliary battery. the 2nd is about 6 months and was installed to also protect the main battery from the Caravan fridge. (rather than normal procedures for vans I run a separate Anderson Plug and line for the van fridge instead of a "hot wire into the aux pin of a 7 pin plug.) and this 3rd unit is to protect the auxiliary battery from the rear of the vehicle, where I also have a traditional Anderson plug and line for the Caravan batteries, though they don't draw at all because of the solar hook up on the van. But more importantly the 3rd unit leads to the draw area in the back of the vehicle where we have either 1 or 2 Engels operating depending on our needs. Both the second isolator and this 3rd isolator shut down draw from the battery it's protecting after about 10 seconds when vehicle is switched off.
as long as there isn't excessive opening and closing of fridges/Engels they maintain their temps for a couple of hours. and if needed for off grid, the solar panels take over.

Kydex Holster and Mag Carrier
a well made, well finished off holster and mag pouch. both are destined for covert carriage so I wasn't interested in colour or flashiness. both holster and mag carrier hold their respective pieces effectively without the need for any extra adjusting.
Interestingly the lip at the back of the holster (for a right hander) partially covers the mag release. It can still be depressed with the weapon remaining in the holster for a safe admin unload, but the operator does need to search for the release. I think this is a good thing and not sure if it was intentional or just good fortune but it certainly negates the possibility of unintentionally/accidently depressing the mag release

SanDisk micro
always seem to just work.
I've used some other cards in car cam/crash cam, and after an initial period of doing fine they seemed to have frozen. Even removing the cards from the cam and installing in a computer to force a "formatting" of the card only works for a little while then those cards seem to fill up again even though the cam settings are on overwrite. (checking those cards on computer have shown empty but???)
No such problem with the SanDisk though
