Decent wind screen
It's a fairly dense foam, but very thin, so it does block wind and pops without significantly attenuating treble. I did not buy them for actual Shure SM58s, so I can not say whether they fit perfectly (sorry), but they do seem about the right size and hold their shape nicely once inserted. I recommend them, especially at the price.

Still a little loose
It's a nice knob tip. A little loose on my CRL 3-way switch. Required a drop of glue to stay on. (I use a small amount of silicone, ymmv).

You might want to get the non-enclosed version
They do exactly what everyone says they do: combined with a teflon-bearing nut, my tuning is now rock-solid. Well, at the headstock end anyway--my traditional 6-screw tremolo never quite loses its traditional strat drift, but the tuning stability has greatly increased from installing these. Definitely recommended. The UMP kit is great if you need to retain the value of a vintage guitar, but not exactly beautiful.
Two pieces of advice:
Measure your headstock before ordering. My vintage ibanez actually had 7.8mm holes and required some reaming before these could be installed.
The "enclosed" version actually has quite a large gap between the knob and tuning machine, so dirt and dust can still get in, so if you prefer the look of the "open" version you might as well just get it and enjoy.
