Best design
The bright spot is that it has the car charger adapter. You can plug it in to cigar lighter when the engine is on, or to a portable battery like jupstarter. This allows a 12v to 20 or so v step up conversion, very effective, as opposed to a 12v to 120v then a secondary 120v down to 20 or so v. This allow the laptop to sustain on battery power for significantly longer time. The USB output is a convenient feature too.

Great product with minor quirks
No complaints. Minor quirks: All zones in a schedule share the same start time. Station B will start after station A ends even though it shows station B starts at the same time as station A. Start time is a concept of the whole schedule, not station. Initial valve status could be On, which is undesirable but can be easily corrected. Time setting takes time since you have to go through all 24 hours and their minutes.
