A stunning watch that gets many compliments
I wasn’t sure about buying a quartz designer watch, but this Calvin Klein was too good to pass up. The watch is a beautifully styled chronograph quartz watch with an amazing leather watch strap that’s soft yet durable, a silver dial, silver hands, and a silver watch case that’s easy to read. At 44mm it’s also the perfect size.

Love Me Or Leave Me is a must have for any collector of classic movies!
All time classic starring the greats Doris Day and James Cagney. It’s quite a departure from her usual comedic roles as it’s the story of Ruth Etting a singer that led a turbulent life. Doris did an amazing job in portraying Ruth Etting’s ups and downs while rising to stardom and in a relationship with her very controlling agent/gangster/boyfriend played by Cagney. This movie is my favorite Doris Day movie. I’ve seen it many times but never owned the DVD. I can now say that this classic movie is part of my collection of Doris Day movies.

Excellent deals on Hess collectibles but beware of batteries left in
I’ve been buying these collectible Hess trucks that people collected over the years so that I can give them as gifts to my young nephews. Since people collected and never opened them they are being sold as new in the box which is great for gifts. However, in some of them that come with accessories like the little cars and motorcycles, etc, Hess sold the accessory with the battery installed. You can imagine what happens when a battery is left in something that is not opened for 15, 20 plus years. So while I still think these are excellent deals and I intend to buy more, I am now aware of and just want to warn others to check out the accessories before giving the Hess trucks as a gift. The photo shows the AA battery I removed from the helicopter of 1995 Hess truck with helicopter. I cleaned the area and super glued the battery latch closed and the helicopter still looks awesome on the truck bed. Now it’s back in the box and ready to be given as a gift with a little note about the accessory battery slot being “just for show”.
