Lightweight with excellent performance.
This lens is performing to my expectations. I've used Zeiss glass before and I'm happy to have it back in my kit.

Excuses Begone
1 of 1 found this helpful Dr. Wayne Dyer does a wonderful job in this series of getting us to think beyond our limitations and he seems to address every possible excuse we can think of to keep us from making our dreams come true. This series has given me plenty of food for thought and is having a powerful impact on my life and how I view the future.

If you love B&W photography, nothing beats the M8!
1 of 1 found this helpful If you love B&W photography nothing beats the Leica M8. The files it produces are in a class by themselves. Skin tones are exquisite (not plastic looking) something film lovers will appreciate. Color photography with the M8 is also exciting. Because it has a very thin IR filter on its CCD sensor, the images it produces are slightly sharper than that of the M9. There are many lens options available, you are not limited to Leica, and most produce stunning images when used on the the M8. In the right hands, it is an exceptional tool. I love it!
