Dr. Dog essential LP
This is the Dr. Dog album I give to friends who I know are avid Beatles/ The Band fans, no contemporary band comes close to capturing their magic like Dr. Dog. I liken this album to a great Beatles album ala Rubber Soul or Revolver, brilliant songs and arrangements front to back. The influences are there, but the sound is distinctly Dr. Dog. As Randy Newman has said of them, "they know what they're doing, they really stand out". when it comes to indie psych/pop bands. Check out this epic record, you'll be happy that you did.
