Boom For The Buck

For the money you can't get boom in your trunk any cheaper. The box is excellent quality for a prefab, and the subs hits with authority. Very good purchase imo.

Great For The Money

Sound of this headset is above par and the sound studio you can download at Creative Sound Blaster's website is really cool and lets you take complete control of your sound. The headset has nice bass and is as good as most $100 headset's sound wise. The mic is decent, you can be heard clearly and it picks up very well but it has some background white noise though very slight. Comfort is the one area where I have to fault the headset. It fits over the ears nice and the headband had plenty of adjust-ability but the ear cups aren't deep enough imo. The plastic where the speaker itself is located is actually convex and makes contact with your ears if your ears are any larger than small. In long gaming sessions the cartilage parts in my ears became a little sore. If they made a thicker ear cushion it may take care of this problem. In closing : Sound = better than most , Mic = Average but crisp , Comfort = Average , you wont find a better sounding headset for this price but there are more comfortable one's. Hope this helps, and for the record my ears aren't big, they are average size. Don't be afraid of factory refurbished units, they are new in appearance and most are gone through with new components.
