A must have, BUT.
This fitting is way over-priced but is a must have with most any Holley 4 barrel carburetor with or without a secondary pump. My carburetor is a Holley 4150 street avenger 670 cfm with vacuum secondary. The area where a secondary pump would be is only recessed where a dump diaphragm normally would be and held in place with the cover as is the primary pump. With any standard fitting for the vacuum brake booster that screws into the Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, the throttle plate hits the top of the fitting. I have two 0.060 inch gaskets and a metal plate between the gaskets, (Holley sealing plate kit for square bore, P/N 17-82) and the throttle plate still lays on top of the fitting. Edelbrock has to know this is a problem and should supply this fitting to customers who purchase their Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold. I will say that with this fitting, manufactured by Edelbrock, I have approximately 3/8" between the fitting and the throttle plate so I do not have to worry about warping the throttle plate or having a vacuum leak.

Otterbox is the best!
Have owned many cell phone cases but Otterbox is the best. I look for fit, protection and a good grip when holding the cell phone, Otterbox is a five star rating in all categories.

OK for novice/homeowner!
Haynes and Chilton's are nearly identical, word for word, do not buy both. No good for detailed repairs, it would be useful for the novice/homeowner for minor repairs, back in the day when I cranked wrenches for a living I thought these books were great, not so much now. Very basic information at best.
