Quality at affordable price
This is not my first or only Win Sung 618 pen. I really like these pens and the way they write. The styling is classic and while some people say it's pretending to be a classic Parker because of the clip and the hooded nib, I'm not bothered by that and prefer to concentrate on how well they write and the enjoyment I get from using them.
I particularly like that there is a locking mechanism on the end cap for piston filling which prevents accidental turning and ejection of ink. These days so much of the paper available was not designed for use with fountain pens which can result in show-through, bleed-through and feathering so the Fine nib minimises these problems on most but the really cheapest quality papers.
It's nice to enjoy using a fountain pen again, I am so tired of ballpoint pens.

Surprisingly Good Value for the Money
Chinese pens have a reputation for being cheap, and of variable quality. This pen challenges that point of view. It's not as incredibly cheap as many tat are available. However it is very reasonably priced and of very good quality.
I now have 2 of them (one silver trim, one gold trim) from 2 different sellers (simply because I like to see if the items are consistent). Both write very nicely, feel sturdy and well made, and I'm really enjoying using them.
So anyone wanting a fountain en that writes well, looks good, and feels sturdy, I'd recommend this one. It is well priced so you don't have to worry about taking and using anywhere.

I'm happy, a nice looking mechanical watch, make a change from all the quartz stuff I've got
1 of 1 found this helpful I was looking for a simple, easy to read watch, and I've been fascinated by Russian watches for the novelty value. Clean white dial, a full set of clear numerals liked like it filled the bill. I wasn't worried about the lack of date, - a) I'm retired so who cares what the day/date is, and b) my eyesight has got to the point I have to squint to see the date windows usually anyway.
I changed the strap for a NATO strap, nothing too wrong with the rubber one, but the irony of a NATO strap on a Russian watch with a Soviet era movement appealed... and I like NATO straps.
I doubt I'll ever seriously test the 200m water resistance, I'm not sure I'm that water resistant, but it's good the feel like I don't have to worry about taking it off to get my hands wet.
