Deeply moveing and thought provoking.
this book first came to my attention when I was reading
"Borstal Boy".[Brendon Behan]??
Although it is very amusing in parts, I find the author's
description of the exploited conditions of the workforce
depressing.
I realise he has to emphasize these conditions to make the
reader aware of the grinding poverty of that era, and I don't doubt it's authenticity but those particular passages
were hard reading for me.
Tressell however makes his arguement brilliantly and the
way he describes the so called "upper class" and the clergy
attitude to the conditions of the "unenlightened" workforce
is faultless.

Good value.
Hello,
The product did the job. It also did what it claimed to do, which was to make the repair job
easier.
