Excellent Barrel

Handles great and shoots everything accurately from the soft shooting 45 cowboy Round to the shoulder jarring 460 magnum rounds.
Great addition to my collection
Blemish Free appears to be good quality like the other TC barrels

Skeptical at first, after a weekend with it - Wow this thing works great!!!!
2 of 2 found this helpful Read about the "magic" tuning abilities of 9:1 match boxes / ununs figured ok I need to give one a try.so after reading reviews and things I decided on this one.
Made over 50 contacts on 15,20, 17 50 and 75m and even one on 10 with only 60watts ssb.
and this was with the 66' of wire with feed point at only 8' and the other end at only about 14'
Will probably get another one for portable use.
Pros - using 2 different lenghts of wire I had good SWR (less than 3:1) on all the bands
Best results were with 66' wire where SWR was 1:1 - 1:5 on 10, 12, 15 and 17 and 20m.
40 and 75 meters were less than 3:1.
Cons: not really a con but - I like to use heavy wire for my wires at the QTH - long runs of 14 gauge electric fence wire stretched enough to not sag would probably be a bit much for the box if left up to the wind and the elements for the long term but I have strain reliefs in place so that as with previous baluns / match boxes it doesn't have to be strong, it just has to be electrically sound and that it is.
