Works Like New

Don't Buy
The last one I bought only lasted 2 months and they would not replace without paying a $3.50 warranty claim shipping charge.

4 of 4 found this helpful Everything worked and set up was easy except the mechanical door bell does not reliably work. The doorbell worked at first but then stopped. By depowering and restarting the device the doorbell could be brought back but shortly after the doorbell would fail off. After contacting customer support, they determined I have a faulty unit and a replacement unit is being shipped. I'll update after it is received and installed.
Follow up: The replacement unit worked properly for several months although I had difficulty removing the microSD card from the old unit due to some sort of gummy substance. I did get it out and cleaned up and it worked in the new unit until one day it suddenly was not detected by the unit. When I went to remove the card it was stuck in there and the card was destroyed removing it - same gummy substance. I emailed customer support and they sent me another new unit. I'll have to say their customer support is great! Installed a new card and it is working fine.
March 2023 follow up : The second replacement unit is still working fine in the doorbell location. Occasionally I have to cycle power to bring back the doorbell. I was using the original unit (one that was replaced under warranty because it wouldn't ring the doorbell) as a security camera in a different location. It just failed off and took out the doorbell transformer with it. When I opened it up it looks like the battery swelled up and failed off, everything inside looks like it got real hot. It's toast. At least the SD card is still good.
